Cool-ship

After all this heat, we now come to the opposite: cooling in the cool-ship. Before nature can once again become active during the fermenting process, we let the wort rest a little in the cool-ship. Here the wort is gently cooled until it has reached a temperature of 55°C. During this process, the remaining cloudy sediment is separated.

Our cool-ship is made of copper and lies under the roof of the UERIGE, in the heart of Düsseldorf’s old town centre.
